Jasna Podreka

Jasna Podreka is a sociologist and lecturer at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Her research focuses on domestic violence, intimate partner violence, intimate partner homicide, femicide, sexual violence and harassment, and issues related to gender discrimination in society and academia. In addition to her academic work, she actively participates in projects aimed at empowering women and fostering inclusive communities. She was a member of the project team that developed the gender equality plan at her home faculty. She participated in the expert group for the development of the regulations on violence, harassment and abuse at the University of Ljubljana and is a trusted person at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.
