Helga Nolte

Helga Nolte is a mediator and coach, a consultant on issues of good scientific practice and research integrity as well as a GWP trainer and lecturer. She has worked in various positions in ombuds work since 2005, most recently until August 2024 as head of the Ombuds Office she initiated and developed at the University of Hamburg.

Helga Nolte was actively involved in the development and implementation of the ‘Curriculum for Courses on Good Scientific Practice’. After its publication in 2009, she co-founded the ‘Scientific Integrity’ team (www.scientificintegrity.de) together with colleagues and has since developed and updated teaching and training concepts on good scientific practice, research integrity, ombuds work and related topics. Since 2010, she has been conducting seminars, lectures and training courses based on the above-mentioned curriculum on a freelance basis in Germany and other European countries.

Since 2011, she has been an active member of the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO), of which she was a member of the board from 2020 to 2022(www.enrio.eu).
