Jörgen Svidén

“I am a trained lawyer with long experience of legal work, mainly in the public sector. Thus I have been in various committees in the Swedish Parliament for eight years and thereafter nearly ten years at different Ministries in the Swedish Government. Since 2015 I am the director for the Ethics Review Appeals Board. The Board not only decides in appeals from the Swedish Ethical Review Authority; we also have responsibility for supervision of the Act concerning the Ethical Review of Research Involving Humans. That work consists mainly of policy-making in the field of research ethics. I was a proud member of ENRIO 2015 – 2020. I am currently a member of various international organizations, such as EUREC and Actris.”
