Biography
Nicole Föger holds a doctorate in biochemistry and has worked as a researcher in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. From 2010 until 2022 she was coordinator and managing director of the Austrian Agency for Research Integrity, as such involved in training and advising in all matters of RI and supporting the international Commission for Research Integrity. From 2012 until 2018 she was elected Chair of the European Network of Research Integrity Offices (ENRIO) and participated in several EU-funded projects on research integrity as coordinator, project partner or member of the advisory board. From 2018 until 2021 she was a member of the Governing Board of the World Conferences on Research Integrity Foundation (WCRIF). Today she is an independent research integrity and research ethics consultant for international clients and organizations. Empowering individuals, teams, networks and organizations by recognizing their strengths and unique abilities is a matter close to her heart.
