Biography
Urša Opara Krašovec is a chemist and a scientific counsellor at the Faculty of electrical engineering, University of Ljubljana. She has been involved in several international research projects related to advanced materials for solar energy systems and has supervised several PhD students. She is also an advocate for women’s and worker’s rights in Academia.
Since 2013 she has been involved in raising the awareness on research integrity challenges. She was engaged in the initiatives towards the establishment of the National Council on Ethics and Integrity in Science as evident also through the ENRIO country report for Slovenia. In 2014 she joined ENRIO as a representative of the national Commission of Women in Science. During the ENRIO transition from a network to legal entity, she served as a vice-chair, she was also a member of ENRIO’s working group on whistleblower protection.
